Side View Bird Box Camera System - Hi Resolution (No IR)
The BEST Side View Nest Box Camera System available on the market today! This system is a variation of our award winning Nest Box Camera System. We managed to add a unique twist by literally turning the traditional bird box design on its head….well almost! The SIDE VIEW BIRD BOX design offers garden birds a warm and secure place to raise their family. At the same time, it provides human viewers a unique side on view (including the entrance hole), compared to the classic top down view.The camera, cabling and connections are installed behind an opaque plastic panel that features a small slot for the camera lens to capture images from the nesting chamber. As the camera is mounted at the top of the sloping side wall, any nesting material and mess will not affect the recording
process. This bird box camera will provide colour images during daylight hours. For an enhanced experience, the camera comes with a built in microphone so you can hear all the sounds from the box. This camera nestbox system will be delivered fully tested and ready assembled. All you have to do is position the box, plug it in and start watching! INSIDE THE NESTBOX1. The nest offers a warm, safe place for birds to nest. This Birdbox was designed according to RSPB and BTO recommendations.2. Small window - to enable to right amount of natural light inside the box for the camera to capture great colour images.3. the strict guidelines recommended by the RSPB and British Trust for Ornithology (BTO).This bird box has a 32mm entrance hole and is suitable for a wide range of garden birds including:Blue TitsCoal TitsMarsh TitsGreat TitsHouse SparrowsRecent studies have indicated that the entrance hole must feature a certain size in order to attract specific bird species (eg. 25mm for Blue Tits etc.). However, this is not a rule since our extensive experience has proved that a 32mm hole will not deter Blue Tits or other small hole nesting species. RSPB has also agreed with this fact (when we collaborated for producing their branded kit) that a 32 mm hole could actually increase the chances of a pair of garden birds nesting in the box. The nest box has a small camera compartment to house the camera and
connections. A quick release camera mounting bracket is also fitted to hold the camera in the right position.The Camera - All of our nest box cameras are manufactured according to certain specifications and high quality standards. The camera used in this kit is a High Resolution 650TVL (TV lines) CCD camera with IR (infrared). This device will produce quality colour images during the day time only. This bird box camera also has a built in microphone so you can hear everything that happens in your new bird box. The 3.6mm lens is pre-focused to the right position but users can adjust it to match other applications. Other System Components The system includes a professional x3 core cable (Audio/Video/12vDC) connected to the camera through the roof of the nest box at one end, whilst the other
end of the cable will be connected on your home system. The connectors are black, yellow and white. The black connector is for powering the device. It connects to the 12V DC power adaptor supplied (looks like a mobile phone charger). The power adaptor will be plugged into a mains socket.
