This was utilized in the men’s range last season with great response & is now spread out across more of their range.  This, combined with their new Baseline 2.0 technology has changed the performance of their women specific range & they have done this by using a new comprehensive build process where a skis top shape is redesigned to complement the side profile along the entire ski.  They have called this ‘ Baseline 2.0’ & K2 has managed to engineer skis for varied skier types & even different styles of skiing, while also finely tuning them for a specific snow condition. A really nice ski for the good intermediate to advanced skiers to move up into the Freeride category.  Thanks to its metal laminate this still remains really responsive so this has the width underfoot to sit up in powder, yet the stiffness to offer great response on piste.  This means that those of you who have been on 80mm skis for the last few years & are looking to progress but do not want to lose any hard pack performance then this is a really nice option.
