The Head Flocka profile provides outstanding edge hold while reducing the chance of catching an edge. A full wood core & forgiving flex profile make this a lively yet easy to ride board. With Flocka twin shaping you can hone your skills both switch & regular, or even set your bindings backward & ride the whole mountain.

Specification   Construction: Flocka Board Profile, Flock Twin Shaping, Cruiser Jacket Laminate, Wood Core, Extruded Base Length: 158cm Running length: 77.9cm Waist

Width:
25.4cm Sidecut radius: 5.9m Setback: Twin Flex: 3   FEATURES Flocka board profile features a completely flat board shape between the bindings, with slight rise toward the tip & tail.  This generates lots of edge hold with a full length effective edge when leaning over, but with reduced board & edge contact when straight running. This reduces the chance of catching an edge, making the flocka an ideal board profile. Flocka Twin shape compliments both camba & rocka, adding extra flex & pop where it is most needed making a forgiving, yet controlled ride. A Wood core is made from stringers of lightweight Poplar. Strong & durable. Extruded bases are extremely durable & easy to maintain   The Good is an impressive board at this pricepoint.  Innovative camber/rocker profiles are everywhere in the snowboard industry, but to find them on what is, let’s be honest, an entry level board is phenomenal. We can all remember the terror of fast flat running, praying to the snow gods not to catch an edge. The flocka profile goes a long way to reducing those whiplash moments, but without sacrificing edge hold as with full rockered boards. Ideal for progression, confidence & fun!

The new-for-2015 JOY women’s ski range by head is focussed on lighter weight combined with outstanding performance, to give you more energy, & a smoother ride. The latest materials are utilised to create stunning line up of women’s specific skis The Total Joy is an all-mountain ‘ripper’ for the advanced & expert skier, featuring an 85mm waist which we feel is that perfect sweet spot for European skiing in all conditions, with full piste capability. The Allride Rocker profile ensures great float in softer snow, whilst the camber underfoot, & the light weight design of the skis with a balance weight distribution ensures agility at all speeds. Comes complete with colour coded Tyrolia Joy 11 binding on Head’s Superlite rail system. FEATURES & BENEFITS LIBRA, Head’s women’s ski  design for 2015, features GRAPHENE. GRAPHENE is the first crystal that is two-dimensional, giving the material a unique set of properties. It is the thinnest & lightest element discovered by mankind. GRAPHENE is also the strongest material on the planet, stronger than diamond & 300 times stronger than steel, all in the thickness of one atom! GRAPHENE is at the centre of the new JOY collection, outstanding lightness with a perfectly balanced ski, & always in complete control. A balanced ski is achieved through unique weight distribution profiles. With GRAPHENE Head is able to manipulate the balance of the ski combined with their profiles, tuning the balance to suit the intended use of the ski. This is undertaken on EVERY ski model in EVERY size for perfect balance. The Total Joy also features Head ERA 3.0 Rocker technology. 1. ALLRIDE ROCKER A targeted amount of rocker is placed in each era 3.0 ski to compliment the radius of the ski, to ensure maximum performance for all ability levels. Steering is easier for all skiers & soft snow versatility is enhanced. 2. PROGRESSIVE RADIUS Regular rocker makes skiers place their ski further on edge to get the full edge length from tip-to-tail. With Head’s progressive radius, up to 50% less angulation is required to enjoy full edge contact. More edge on the snow means more edge grip. 3. INTELLIRISE REBOUND Head have moved their legendary piezoelectric Intellifibers to the tip of the skis. The nasty tip vibrations found on regular rockers are not found here. These skis are too smart for that. SKI

The Tribute i. Is a rare breed. While most freestyle boards are shying away from cambered profiles, the Tribute i. demands that you step up your game & stop relying of super loose skate style boards with little edge hold to land those spins. Whats the benefit? Camber boards offer superior edge hold across the whole mountain, & dont require expensive (and sometimes fragile) technology to generate pop & response.   The Tribute is a true twin, but if you offset your bindings slightly toward the rear of the board, itll happily shred the whole mountain.

Specification Construction: Camba Profile, Twin Shape, Intellifiber, Cabon & Kevlar Stringers, Control Jacket Laminate, Wood Core, Extruded Base Length: 158cm Running length: 123cm Waist

Width:
25.3cm Sidecut radius: 7.8m Setback: Twin Flex: 5   FEATURES A Camba board profile is the classic ‘raised between the bindings’ shape.  When loaded, the entire length of the board comes into contact with the snow, & the effective edge length is at its maximum.  The preloaded nature of the board means that it is always ready to react to your input, popping huge ollies & changing direction in a split second. This gives great edge hold & control, but can be a little trickier to ride than some of the more ‘rockered’ shapes. Twins feature truly symmetrical shapes & flex patterns, meaning there is no true tip or tail.  It rides switch as well as regular, brush up those skills to follow suit. Intellifibers are Heads proprietary ‘piezoelectric’ fibres that absorb energy from edge to edge motions, & redirect that energy to stiffen up key area of the core when hard charging. Carbon & Kevlar Stringers span the area between the contact points at the tip & tail, to add pop & reduce vibration. Wood core is made from stringers of lightweight Poplar. Strong & durable. Extruded bases are extremely durable & easy to maintain     The Tribute i. Is a hard board to pigeon hole. On the one h&, it is definitely a freestyle board. True twin shaping & extruded bases are clear indicators, but the Camber profile, Intellifibres & stiff glass laminate suggest that there is more to this board than riding the park all day.  The camber profile will suit advanced riders who may hit the big line in the park a few times, but arent there to session a rail.  Its a big ol mountain out there, why not ride something that can handle it all.

The new Head Venturi 95 hits the sweet spot when it comes to a wide enough width for great float whilst still being fantastic to ski on the piste. Light & nimble combined with controllable versatility. 95mm underfoot, this ski is in that 50/50 category for those wanting a true all mountain ski, & with its lightened weight it is also capable of running a standard or touring mode binding for even more versatility. The turn radius of this ski is also very short for a ski of the width, retaining full turn control when on the piste helping you to avoid hazards & let the throttle go when the piste opens up for you! This exo-skeleton tip & tail reduces swing weight & vibration whilst creating better pressure distribution on turn entry & exit. FEATURES & BENEFITS TTS is a stabilising exoskeleton which dampens the vibrations normally felt from rockered tips & tails also reducing the overall swing weight, & creates a ski with a playful yet high level of performance. The system is comprised of an elastomeric inlay for vibration control, as well as a glass fibre exoskeleton for stability & torsional strength. This combination not only reduced vibrations but creates better pressure distribution upon entry & exit of your turns, by minimising lateral flex of the skis. Reducing overall vibration means better edge control & therefore increases overall skiing performance. In addition, the reduction of core materials in the tip & tail has created a reduced swing weight for easier handling & manoeuvrability both on snow & in the air. TNT Rocker gives 40% tip & tail rocker for amazing float in the powder with plenty of edge hold on the piste too thanks to the 60% camber. A Sandwich Cap construction incorporates a traditional wood core & sidewall construction with an outer cap layer, for a blend of responsiveness & durability. Tuffwalls are impact resistant ABS Sidewalls, which maintain responsiveness but can also take a beating whilst offering a little damping too. ISS – Independent Suspension System, is a construction throughout the ski with damping at key points for a smoother ride when the going is chopped up underfoot.

Specification Sidecut: 140mm-95mm-126mm (For 181cm Length) Radius: 16.0 Metres (For 181cm length) Base Profile: TNT Rocker Ski Core: Sandwich wood core with capwall Bindings:   New Head AAAttack 13 By Tyrolia SKI PROFILE Snow Conditions: Powder, All-Conditions Ski Terrain: All-Mountain, Off-Piste, Piste Skier Level: Strong Intermediate, Advanced, Expert This is a very nice ski, it really works well on the piste, likely due to the camber underfoot & the width being 95mm, & yet in slush, & off the piste it floats brilliantly too with the nose floating with ease. This is my personal favourite in this new line up due to my piste bias, as it really encouraged me to go off the sides more as it is really confidence inspiring as it is so easy to turn with. IS IT FOR ME? For the all-mountain skier who still wants a short turning ski for the piste & yet also needs some width for great float on those powder days.

Head World Cup skis are probably the most successful skis in the history of alpine skiing. For 2013 the i SL offers World Cup construction & KERS energy system for the closest ski to a true FIS model. With an 11.5 metre turning radius this ski is incredibly agile & thanks to the 66mm waist is extremely agile edge to edge. FEATURES & BENEFITS KERS Technology: This works like a turbo charger that provides additional power & acceleration by stiffening the tail of the ski in outturns.  The effect results in a subtle kick, pushing the skier into the next turn.  Unlike Heads Intelligence fibres, KERS does not influence the torsional stiffness of the ski, but empowers the skis, longitudinal flex.    This season they have integrated a brand new chip capable of accumulating power & keeping it stored for precisely the right moment. Intelligence Technology: Having a ski that can adapt to differing conditions, but also adapts to your own skiing style is something that everyone would benefit from but previously, unless you could afford custom skis, was rarely available.  Over the last few years Head have been working on & improving their Intelligence technology which does just that.  On hard-packed slopes you want perfect edge grip. On soft snow, you want more manoeuvrability. Breaking the slope record you want your ski to perform differently than when you’re just cruising with your friends or family.  Heads Intelligence Technology uses fibres positioned in front of the binding to transform mechanical impulses into electrical energy. The harder you ride, the more energy is produced.  This electrical energy is led back to the Intellifibers. This causes them to stiffen up, putting more rebound & torsional stiffness into the ski; this progressively stabilizes the entire ski at high speeds. SKI
