The Head Vector has been one of Head’s best sellers for some years now. It is an all mountain performance boot that is aimed at skiers who feel at home in any terrain & want a boot that performs likewise. The Vector offers a sporty precision fit with enough comfort for non-racers. Features & benefits Flex Stance Tuning This boot features Flex tuning which means that you can easily switch between two flex ratings. This is great if you fancy one day honing around & the next crusing the easy slopes or following little ones around. It also acts as a forward lean adjustment so you can make the boot more aggressive. Double Power Buckles You are also getting “ Double Power Buckles”. The ergonomic Double Power Lever increases the leverage of the buckle by 100%, halving the effort required to buckle in. Spine-Tech Buckles You are also getting Heads spine-tech buckles which allows the buckle to be flexible & adapt to the shape of the shell profile, reducing the chances of getting any pressure points from the overlap. Tri-Injection Frame The shell of the Edge is made up of three different material densities. A softer section that offers easy entry & foot wrap, & high density overall structure that adds precision & the ultra stiff frame that optimises power & reaction. 40mm Power Strap The power strap is there to give you a better fit & feel from the cuff of the boot & an all-around close fit. It also helps to drive power to the edge of your skis giving a more positive & faster ski response. Perfect Fit Liner Perfect Fit is the revolutionary customisation system that provides the best level of precision, comfort & durability. The PF material allows the liner to adapt to your feet, ensuring maximum power transmission.

The new Head Venturi 95 hits the sweet spot when it comes to a wide enough width for great float whilst still being fantastic to ski on the piste. Light & nimble combined with controllable versatility. 95mm underfoot, this ski is in that 50/50 category for those wanting a true all mountain ski, & with its lightened weight it is also capable of running a standard or touring mode binding for even more versatility. The turn radius of this ski is also very short for a ski of the width, retaining full turn control when on the piste helping you to avoid hazards & let the throttle go when the piste opens up for you! This exo-skeleton tip & tail reduces swing weight & vibration whilst creating better pressure distribution on turn entry & exit. FEATURES & BENEFITS TTS is a stabilising exoskeleton which dampens the vibrations normally felt from rockered tips & tails also reducing the overall swing weight, & creates a ski with a playful yet high level of performance. The system is comprised of an elastomeric inlay for vibration control, as well as a glass fibre exoskeleton for stability & torsional strength. This combination not only reduced vibrations but creates better pressure distribution upon entry & exit of your turns, by minimising lateral flex of the skis. Reducing overall vibration means better edge control & therefore increases overall skiing performance. In addition, the reduction of core materials in the tip & tail has created a reduced swing weight for easier handling & manoeuvrability both on snow & in the air. TNT Rocker gives 40% tip & tail rocker for amazing float in the powder with plenty of edge hold on the piste too thanks to the 60% camber. A Sandwich Cap construction incorporates a traditional wood core & sidewall construction with an outer cap layer, for a blend of responsiveness & durability. Tuffwalls are impact resistant ABS Sidewalls, which maintain responsiveness but can also take a beating whilst offering a little damping too. ISS – Independent Suspension System, is a construction throughout the ski with damping at key points for a smoother ride when the going is chopped up underfoot.

Specification Sidecut: 140mm-95mm-126mm (For 181cm Length) Radius: 16.0 Metres (For 181cm length) Base Profile: TNT Rocker Ski Core: Sandwich wood core with capwall Bindings:   New Head AAAttack 13 By Tyrolia SKI PROFILE Snow Conditions: Powder, All-Conditions Ski Terrain: All-Mountain, Off-Piste, Piste Skier Level: Strong Intermediate, Advanced, Expert This is a very nice ski, it really works well on the piste, likely due to the camber underfoot & the width being 95mm, & yet in slush, & off the piste it floats brilliantly too with the nose floating with ease. This is my personal favourite in this new line up due to my piste bias, as it really encouraged me to go off the sides more as it is really confidence inspiring as it is so easy to turn with. IS IT FOR ME? For the all-mountain skier who still wants a short turning ski for the piste & yet also needs some width for great float on those powder days.

Head World Cup skis are probably the most successful skis in the history of alpine skiing. For 2013 the i SL offers World Cup construction & KERS energy system for the closest ski to a true FIS model. With an 18 metre turning radius this ski is built for the downhill ski carver who wants to make beautiful wide arcing turns with agility edge-to-edge Features & benefits KERS Technology:  This works like a turbo charger that provides additional power & acceleration by stiffening the tail of the ski in outturns.  The effect results in a subtle kick, pushing the skier into the next turn.  Unlike Heads Intelligence fibres, KERS does not influence the torsional stiffness of the ski, but empowers the skis, longitudinal flex.    This season they have integrated a brand new chip capable of accumulating power & keeping it stored for precisely the right moment. Intelligence technology: Having a ski that can adapt to differing conditions, but also adapts to your own skiing style is something that everyone would benefit from but previously, unless you could afford custom skis, was rarely available.  Over the last few years Head have been working on & improving their Intelligence technology which does just that.  On hard-packed slopes you want perfect edge grip. On soft snow, you want more manoeuvrability. Breaking the slope record you want your ski to perform differently than when you’re just cruising with your friends or family.  Heads Intelligence Technology uses fibres positioned in front of the binding to transform mechanical impulses into electrical energy. The harder you ride, the more energy is produced.  This electrical energy is led back to the Intellifibers. This causes them to stiffen up, putting more rebound & torsional stiffness into the ski; this progressively stabilizes the entire ski at high speeds. SKI
