The Tribute i. Is a rare breed. While most freestyle boards are shying away from cambered profiles, the Tribute i. demands that you step up your game & stop relying of super loose skate style boards with little edge hold to land those spins. Whats the benefit? Camber boards offer superior edge hold across the whole mountain, & dont require expensive (and sometimes fragile) technology to generate pop & response. The Tribute is a true twin, but if you offset your bindings slightly toward the rear of the board, itll happily shred the whole mountain.
Specification Construction: Camba Profile, Twin Shape, Intellifiber, Cabon & Kevlar Stringers, Control Jacket Laminate, Wood Core, Extruded Base Length: 158cm Running length: 123cm Waist
Width: 25.3cm Sidecut radius: 7.8m Setback: Twin Flex: 5 FEATURES A Camba board profile is the classic ‘raised between the bindings’ shape. When loaded, the entire length of the board comes into contact with the snow, & the effective edge length is at its maximum. The preloaded nature of the board means that it is always ready to react to your input, popping huge ollies & changing direction in a split second. This gives great edge hold & control, but can be a little trickier to ride than some of the more ‘rockered’ shapes. Twins feature truly symmetrical shapes & flex patterns, meaning there is no true tip or tail. It rides switch as well as regular, brush up those skills to follow suit. Intellifibers are Heads proprietary ‘piezoelectric’ fibres that absorb energy from edge to edge motions, & redirect that energy to stiffen up key area of the core when hard charging. Carbon & Kevlar Stringers span the area between the contact points at the tip & tail, to add pop & reduce vibration. Wood core is made from stringers of lightweight Poplar. Strong & durable. Extruded bases are extremely durable & easy to maintain The Tribute i. Is a hard board to pigeon hole. On the one h&, it is definitely a freestyle board. True twin shaping & extruded bases are clear indicators, but the Camber profile, Intellifibres & stiff glass laminate suggest that there is more to this board than riding the park all day. The camber profile will suit advanced riders who may hit the big line in the park a few times, but arent there to session a rail. Its a big ol mountain out there, why not ride something that can handle it all.
