Sea & Sky RIB Blast For Two
Step aboard a high speed RIB for what will be a tour like no other. With speeds approaching 50mph youll experience the exhilaration of surging across the waves and seeing the sights of Portsmouths famous harbour. Youll see the historic harbour and naval docks followed by a scenic blast around the Napoleonic Forts and in the distance youll see the Spinnaker Tower. This tower soars over the whole of Gunwharf Quays and youll take a visit to the top viewing platform, 170 metres high. From up here you can trace your recent trip around the locations of the Solent and give yourself a fright by looking down through the amazing glass floor. Or you can simply enjoy a coffee at the cafeteria whilst marvelling at the breath-taking views of the Isle of Wight and beyond. On your arrival you will be
welcomed by the staff who will ask you to sign in, and will then familiarise you with the experience. You will then be introduced to your skipper and issued with life jackets and waterproofs as required. The skipper will take the group down to the pontoons where a pre-boarding safety brief will be given. After familiarisation with the vessel, it will be ropes off and youll depart Gunwharf Quay for a brief tour of Portsmouths harbour before heading out into the Solent. Youll weave amongst the Napoleonic stone forts that span the Solent before heading north. Then its back to the fortified harbour mouth at Old Portsmouth and finally home at Gunwharf Quays where youll disembark. To finish youll head to the Spinnaker Tower, where youll be whisked by a high speed lift to the three levels of
viewing platforms to view the far off points of the Solent where you have just been ploughing through the waves! The minimum age for this activity is 12 years old, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. The minimum height for participants is 1.52m (5ft) The maximum weight for participants is 108kg (17 stone).
