You can find a range of marine animals including; Bottlenose Dolphins, Common Dolphins, Basking Sharks, Atlantic Grey Seals, Sun Fishes, & much more. Theres also a wealth of birds too, including; Gannets, Fulmars, Peregrine Falcons, Guillemots, Cormorants & Shags. Bring your binoculars & see how many species you can spot! You never quite know what you might find on this trip as sea temperatures are always changing, so more & more unusual species are being found around Cornish shores. As an added bonus, this experience also entitles you entrance to the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth. This two hour coastal & wildlife safari explores the stunning local cornish coastline. Once you are on the boat you will be looking for wildlife whilst listening to an informative & entertaining commentary from the skipper. As much as people love fish, many of us lack the confidence to deal with both the preparation required & how best to cook it. Using a variety of fish you will practice core knife skills & explore a range of cooking methods whilst paying particular attention to the pairing of flavours. The result
- a culinary feast to end the day! Programme After a warm welcome on arrival, you will meet your expert cookery teacher who will talk you through the days programme & what you will be cooking during your lesson. Then it will be your turn to get your apron on & get cooking. What you cook on the day depends on the location you choose, but generally you will cover cooking fresh crabs, filleting round & flat fish, preparing fish stocks & classic fish based sauces, cooking muscles & preparing your own lobster. At the end you will either be able to sit down & sample what you have made over a relaxed meal with the other attendees or take it away to enjoy later. The exact format varies depending on the cookery school & class chosen. Duration This experience will last between 3 & 5 hours. Group There will be a maximum of 20 people in your group. Spectators Unfortunately you cannot bring spectators to watch. Fitness Please tell us if you have any food or wine allergies or if you are diabetic.
