This course will reveal how to prepare various aspects of a typical Moroccan feast. Moroccan cuisine is very diverse, with many influences including Berber, Moorish, Mediterranean, Arab, & African. A Moroccan feast is great fun to cook & ideal for large parties, suitable for vegetarians & meat eaters alike. Programme After a warm welcome on arrival, you will get to meet your expert cookery teacher who will talk you through the days programme & what you will be cooking during your lesson. Then it will be your turn to get your apron on & get cooking. On this course youll start with the Mezza course, small treats to excite the palate, & then create a starter such as the legendary Pastilla, a filo pastry pie of pigeon or fish. The theatre of the feast comes alive with a main course tagine & couscous, followed by a traditional dessert. At the end you will sit down & sample what you have made over a relaxed meal with the other attendees. The exact format varies depending on the class chosen. Duration This experience will last Approx. 3 hours. Group There will be a maximum of 20 people in your group. Spectators Unfortunately you cannot bring spectators to watch. Fitness Please tell us if you have any food or wine allergies or if you are diabetic or vegetarian. If you have a stomach upset, you must not attend but you may be able to re-book subject to obtaining a doctors certificate. Experience There are no qualifications required.
