There is a lot more to Indian cooking than you may realise. The food of India is characterised by the use of various spices, herbs & vegetables grown in India & also for the widespread practice of vegetarianism across many sections of Indian society. Its not all about making the dishes hot! The spices are there to enhance the flavours, & with this cookery class you will learn this & also learn about accompaniments, presentation ideas & options on serving. These cookery lessons are renowned for their practical, down-to-earth & enthusiastic approach to good food. This is a great chance for you to master new skills for your own benefit, & equally to impress your friends or family! Programme After a warm welcome on arrival, you will get to meet your expert cookery teacher who will talk you through the days programme & what you will be cooking during your lesson. Then it will be your turn to get your apron on & get cooking. At the end you will either be able to sit down & sample what you have made over a relaxed meal with the other attendees or take it away to enjoy later. The exact format varies depending on the cookery school & class chosen. Duration This experience will last 3 to 4 hours. Group There will be a maximum of 20 people in the class. Spectators Unfortunately you cannot bring spectators to watch. Fitness Please tell us if you have any food or wine allergies or if you are diabetic or vegetarian. If you have a stomach upset, you must not attend but you may be able to re-book subject to obtaining a doctors certificate. Experience There are no specific qualifications required in order to enjoy this experience. Minimum Age The minimum age is 18 years.
