Approximately 230 x 130cm.WEAVER GREEN - With an estimated 35 billion plastic bottles finding their way into our seas each year, Weaver Green takes recycled plastic bottles, shreds and spins the plastic into a colourful yarn, and then weaves the yarn into beautiful, soft and environmentally friendly rugs and textiles with all the practicality of plastic, but the look and feel of natural wool. Weaving partners are independently inspected to ensure safe and fair working conditions for the crafts men and women, and the textiles are finished in their Devon based rug rooms.

A fully hardy specimen which will thrive in our cool British climate. This wonderful orchid enjoys a moist, semi-shaded position (it looks beautiful naturalised in a woodland site, or in clearings between shrubs in a cool, shady border). The plants produce strapping, arched green leaves and, in early/mid summer, impressive purple flower spikes which are made up of numerous individual blooms. Flowers May-June. Height 40cm. Many gardeners see a shady corner of their garden as a problem area, but there are a whole host of amazing varieties that will positively thrive there, making it actually a really good opportunity to grow something different. And many of those same plants are great for naturalising too!
