Product Description

This course teaches the fundamental concepts & features of the People Soft Contracts application. Participants will learn how to define the rules for creating & maintaining a contract; enabling them to create billing & revenue recognition plans & process associated transactions, generate prepaid associated to contract lines & manage renewable services.

Integration with other People Soft applications, such as People Soft Billing, People Soft Project Costing, People Soft Order Management & People Soft General Ledger are addressed through lecture & hands on activities. Through lessons & activities, participants learn the necessary skills to implement & process contracts in their own environment. The government contracting features & functions of People Soft Contracts 9.1 are not discussed in this course. Vendor contracts are covered in the People Soft Purchasing module.
