There is a focus on implementation considerations for People Soft Asset Management throughout this course, along with asset maintenance, depreciation, asset accounting & reporting. The Financials Audit Framework is used to track transactions in this course. They learn how to manage both capital & operating leases as well as define & maintain parent-child assets. This course discusses how to revalue assets including investment property & how to use the Fair value Processing feature. They learn to use the Mass Change feature for assets. Integration of Asset Management with other People Soft applications is explored.

Through detailed activities, participants learn how to configure the system & process transactions for asset depreciation, allocations, capital acquisition planning & tracking, like-kind exchanges, & tax reporting.
