IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center is a comprehensive solution for managing storage capacity, availability, events, performance, & assets in an enterprise environment. Automated user-defined policies can detect potential problems & make adjustments based on user criteria. IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center is a key component in the information life cycle management solution.

Hands-on lab comprise over 50 percent of this course. Instructor-led discussions & demonstrations focus on daily administration & operation, report generation & analysis, & policy management. Students are assigned a unique server to administer IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center 4.1 in a Windows 2003 environment. Hands-on excercises provide the opportunity to practice administering the entire suite of products including Fabric Manager, Disk Manager & Data Manager -- with an overview of Replication Manager -- to help you learn to integrate those.
