This is a hands-on course focuses on the core Action Script programming features which underpin just about anything & everything you'll code in a typical Action Script project. Without a clear understanding of these features you will rarely feel comfortable with or properly understand even small Action Script projects.
The course concentrates for the most part on coding, with very little work using visual/display objects. Designers may find this challenging but if they wish to develop their Action Script skills then this is a very necessary first step.
Typically, Action Script beginner courses spend limited time at best examining the detail of each the topics covered on this course; normally just enough to get the basics across before focusing on its application rather than trying to understand it in its own right. This approach can be problematic for delegates who don't have programming experience as it doesn't give them a strong enough understanding of core coding features which underpin the larger program. This course aims to address that issue.
Note: The course uses Flash CS3 or CS4 as the authoring tool.
