EGR Valve Activator for testing & cleaning valve as part of routine servicing – no need to remove valve from vehicle for use Choice of 2 test cycles: 1) Short test accessed by a short press of the button, 2) Full 90 second test via a longer button press; at end of either test cycle the tool gives an audible indication when a faulty & unserviceable EGR valve is connected A scan tool connected via the EOBD socket, may give an indication of a fault with an EGR valve. The Scan Tool will identify if the valve is receiving a signal correctly, & may indicate a reaction to commands from the ECU, but with limited ability for the valve to move correctly if it is jammed with carbon deposits Prevents the unnecessary replacement of EGR Valves & prolongs their operation life Actuates EGR Valves in a fixed open position for cleaning, & in an open / closed sequence for freeing carbon deposits Supplied with 3 x connectors for different makes of valves (1 x FEP connector for applications as per chart, plus 1.2 & 2.8 twin TYCO terminals for a wide variety of apps) Just connect tool to EGR valve plug & select option to proceed
