The Argyle pattern of patterns formed from diamonds, or lozenges is derived from the tartan of Clan Campbell, of Argyll in western Scotland, used for kilts and plaids, and from the patterned socks worn by Scottish Highlanders since at least the 17th century. This cufflink has a gunmetal finish and standard swivel back.
Here’s a design that popped into my head after reading a book on the Alhambra Palace. There’s something a little Moorish tile about the geometry of this design. Enamelled pale blue with gunmetal plate finish.
