Long before their world-renowned Maison was founded in 1827, the Mumm family were producing wine in Germany’s Rhine Valley. Brothers Gottlieb, Jacobus & Philipp saw potential in producing sparkling wine in northern France, & decided to set up a new wing of the business there. As you can probably imagine, they never looked back. Today the famous Champagne house has championed innovation in the vineyard & cellar, while still staying true to the traditional winemaking methods of the region. Their iconic Cordon Rouge cuvée blends Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier & Chardonnay from more than 120 local villages in a rich & complex wine underlined by notes of vanilla, pastry, dried fruit & honey. Try it white meat or fish, or sip on its own as an aperitif.
