Montagny is an appellation for white Burgundy produced in the Côte Chalonnaise. All the vineyards may be designated Premier Cru as long as the alcoholic strength is higher than 11.5%. The wines have a little more body & more acidity than other whites from this region. A brilliant deep golden colour, this wine has a floral nose with hints of citrus fruit dominated by roasted brioche overtones. It has a pleasant floral & slight mineral freshness in the mouth. Ready to be drunk now & partner with caramelised king prawns, poultry or cheeses.
