Although it originates in France, Pinot Noir, or Pinot Nero in Italian, thrives in the mountainous region of Trentino. In fact, it’s one of the key red varieties here. Mezzacorona use grapes grown high on the hills of Pressano & Faedo, in the North of Trento, to ensure cool temperatures help to retain the grape’s refreshing acidity. The vines are grown using traditional pergolas, producing wines to celebrate the region’s heritage. It’s soft & fruity with ripe flavours of wild strawberry & red cherry. Its freshness makes it a perfect match with charcuterie boards.
