Produced using traditional methods, Buisson-Battault's wines are first-class examples of Burgundy's hedonistic and opulent character, and the exceptional quality of the vineyard. An archetypal White Burgundy exhibiting nutty, spicy and ripe stone fruits with a powerful, rich, weighty palate of spicy stone fruit, elegantly balanced with fresh acidity with prolonged length. Gouttes d'Or translates as 'Drops of Gold', and this can certainly age for ten years. Excellent with truffles, or soft cheeses.
