This is a great chance to learn the latest sports craze of snowboarding. Snowboarding was invented in the 1960s in the USA and has grown in popularity around the world ever since. It is essentially skateboarding down a snowy hill but on a board with no wheels! In 1998 it became an Olympic sport where world class riders perform dizzying tricks, however you won't be learning how to do this just yet but if you're wanting to hopefully achieve that level, this lesson is a great place to start. Lessons take place at one of the country's permanent snow all the year round venues. You may be asked to arrive up to half an hour before your appointed lesson time to give you time to collect your equipment and get changed. Then you will have an initial safety briefing and you're off to the slopes.
This is a beginners lesson for a newcomer to the sport only.
