The solid wood posts are crafted from naturally-grown hardwood which are stripped of their bark by hand & are completely free of any chemical treatments. Natural variations of the tree may occue such as weight height & shape thus making each Ruben cat tree unique & individual. Even cracks in the post with widths of up to 7 mm are no product fault but rather give the scratching trees a natural & unique look. For the daily care of your cat´s claws part of the tree´s post is entwined with 12 mm thick high-quality sisal. Both resting platforms are covered with a high-quality faux-fur which can be removed to clean. Covers can be washed at up to 30°C.
