It is made up of natural hardwood trunks stripped of their bark to which three large resting surfaces are attached & a heavy base plate made from real wood. The base platform is covered with formica making it scratch- water- & light-resistant as well as very easy to clean. For the daily care of your cat´s claws the upper part of the tree´s post is entwined with 12 mm thick high-quality sisal. No two products will look the same as these scratching trees are made from natural hardwood which are stripped of their bark by h&. Therefore making each tree unique & individual. Cracks in the wooden post with widths of up to 7 mm are no product fault but rather give the scratching tree a natural & unique look. Three large comfy resting platform tempt cats to laze around & doze. Even large cat breeds have enough room to make themselves comfortable. Each platform has a removable cover made from cosy faux-fur the colour of which is matched to that of the wood. The covers are removable & can be washed at temperatures of up to 30°C.
