Admired for their large, showy blooms, amaryllis plants are a firm favourite for the windowsill or conservatory, bringing a splash of winter colour to the home. Native to Central & South America, Amaryllis Minerva requires a minimum temperature of 13°C &40;55°F&41; & is best grown as a house plant, or in a heated greenhouse.
