Sheffield Football Club is the oldest documented non-university Football club, and was founded in 1857. It initially played a code of its own devising. The club joined the English Football Association (F.A.) in 1863 and is recognised by both the F.A. and FIFA as the world's oldest club now playing Association football. In 1855, members of a Sheffield cricket club organised informal kick-abouts without any official rules. On October 24, 1857 Nathaniel Creswick and William Prest, two Old Harrovians formed the Sheffield Football Club. This shirt is long sleeved with a lace neck and made from 100% knitted cotton.
