After a short briefing you will be airbourne on a wild ride through the skies above the beautiful Devon countryside & down to the magnificent South Coast, soaring with the birds. During your trial flight, you will be given the opportunity to take the controls & fly the aircraft yourself (under the watchful eye of your CAA qualified instructor) but it's by no means obligatory. Your microlight flight will be in an Icarus C42 fixed wing aircraft. To give a bit of detail, the Icarus C42 is an innovative & modern two seat aeroplane that offers superior handling characteristics as well as stability & ease of control in the air & on the ground. This is your chance to experience flying in a Microlight Flexwing with an open cockpit.  This traditional flexwing aircraft kind of resembles a motorised hang glider. Also known as a weightshift or trike, this particular Microlight has a wing reminiscent of a hang-glider with a trike unit containing the engine & seats with the landing gear suspended below.  Your Microlight flying experience will begin with a flight briefing before you are dressed into your flying suit, helmet & gloves.  Next, it's off to the aircraft to line up & take off.
