A fleshy & delicious wine. Typical nose of viognier with ripe yellow fruits & a nice violet touch. Juicy & fresh on the palate with an nice acidulous finish. A single plot cuve. The grapes are picked when fully ripe & h&-sorted. After pressing, they are alcoholic with native yeasts & then malolactic fermented in barrels & big cask with temperature control. The vines are in the communes of Chavanay, called the Vignes d' ct because it's mainly vines next to the appellation area. High-density planting (8, 000-10, 000 vines per hectares). Natural cover cropping to avoid erosion. No insecticides with respect of soil & vine balance, few treatments (depending on weather & the necessary) & small amount of organic fertiliser. Vigour & yield control, leaf-thinning & green harvesting to promote grape ripening. De-budding in the spring.
