This village, situated between Meursault & Chassagne-Montrachet, harbours exceptional terroirs for raising Chardonnay. Vines have been cultivated here since the twelfth century, but it was in 1879 that Puligny added the name of its most famous grand cru Montrachet to its name. The nose is very pleasant & charms with its both subtle & enchanting character. There are citrus, floral & dried fruit aromas. This wine is very full on the palate & strikes a balance between smoothness & liveliness. A harmonious wine with long-lasting aromas & flavours. Serve with: Foie Gras served hot with Grapes, Shellfish in a creamy sauce
