Chich was developed for the 'next level' of rhum drinker. At 40% alcohol (80 proof) it is a lot more palatable & flexible in its recommended serving suggestions. Chic is aged for 4-years in re-charred Bourbon barrels. This rhum is limited to 5, 000 bottles per year around the world annually. It is distinguished by the richer vanilla tones, spices & caramel notes. Chic is smooth on the palette, then after savouring
- the Bourbon begins to come through & warm the back of the throat. The sweetness in the Bourbon finish makes this variety easier to taste, particularly for a female drinker. Ideally, this product can be served with good quality ingredients in a cocktail, or as an aperitif. A ti punch, R. St Barth's perfect serve, is slightly sweeter with Chic.

At 50% (100 proof) this is the strongest of the rhum collection. The flavours have been smoothed out to give this rhum less 'burn' sensation that is often associated with agricole rhums. Limited to 23, 000 bottles per year around the world, Cool is a flexible base for good quality ingredient cocktails & ti punch, which is our perfect serve. The flavours are light
- hints of citrus with a taste of vegetation & damp earthy flavours. R. St Barth blanc is slightly oily on the palate so the flavours linger for a little longer. Cool is rested in stainless steel vats for 12 months before being bottled.

Almond Grove has obtained its name from the Almonds which were widely grown in McLaren Vale on land which now bears our vineyards. Richard Hamilton is noted as the first to have planted Chardonnay in McLaren Vale (in 1972) Medium straw with attractive green tints. The aromas are restrained & elegant showing some peach blossom characters with a subtle oak influence that gives a hint of vanilla. This is a medium bodied, tightly structured wine that shows graceful yet persistent nectarine fruit flavours. It finishes clean with a bright, soft acidity. An excellent companion for poultry, seafood or pasta. The wine should drink well over the next 4-6 years. Expect the colour to show more golden tints in four or so years & the nose & palate to develop attractive French toast flavours. ...

Named after the picker's hut at the front of the property, our Hut Block vineyards are planted on sand & black clay loam soils over a substructure of clay. We think that the intensity of our Cabernet Sauvignon can be attributed to these soils, while the mild maritime climate of McLaren Vale, in which cool evening & night breezes from the gully winds moderate the day time temperatures, suits this variety. Our emphasis is on low yielding vines that are pruned & trained to allow dappled light to reach the fruit zone to slow ripening & enhance aroma & flavour. Deep red with scarlet highlights. Cassis fruit with hints of mint make this wine a definitive Cabernet Sauvignon. Hints of vanilla, cinnamon & mocha from oak maturation have augmented the fruit & contribute complexity. The palate, with excellent blackberry fruit flavours within a medium bodied structure, has a beautiful persistence & long, soft tannins. Serve with Venison, Beef Wellington, rich pasta. Appealing on release & has sufficient structure for 6-8 years of cellaring. ...
