Nebbiolo Grappa Riserve is matured in wooden casks for some years & then it is refined in Portoguese barrels for about 12 months. These barrels had been previously used to maturing a vintage Porto of one of the most prestigious wineries. This particulary kind of passage, already tried for whiskey, & experimented by Sibona Distillery on grappa, has proven to be exceptional as regards to grappa's quality results. Its particular & delicate bouquet & unique flavour, full & elegant with a fruity aftertaste, recall those of Porto.
