Product Description

These two very Australian red grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz were the perfect choice for the base of this 2011 Matilda Plains red blend. Matilda Plains Winery is located in Langhorne Creek South Australia where Cabernet & Shiraz have been traditionally grown for over 100 years. This wine has been carefully blended to provide us with a generous & well balanced palate displaying mouth filling fruit, complementing soft well-integrated tannins & a lingering finish. The small addition of Merlot to the blend provides a soft & supple mouthfeel. This is enhanced by 10 months oak maturation.
