The distillery has blended some really interesting Malt whisky here. All malt, all aged 8 years & above. The blend is then finished in Oloroso casks (50-year-old wood) at the distillery. This has now been bottled at 47% in 700ml porcelain bottles using local spring water. The whisky is then left in cask for a longer period to add an even more intense sherry finish. The bottles are polished black porcelain with a paper-cut by the artist Georgia Low glazed with real gold. Palate: Lightly smoky, with chocolatey notes taking the lead on the palate. Finish: Milky coffee & brown sugar, with a hint of dried earth to it.
