The Chamarel VSOP Rum unique character starts in the quality of the sugar cane harvested from the Estate, complemented by the meticulous monitoring throughout the fermentation & distillation processes. The Rum is then matured for a minimum of 4 years in oak barrels in our cellar. Nose: Vanilla, caramel, tannins, orchard fruits peach/apricot, notes of prune & ripe sugar cane. Pallette: Honey, cedarwood, touch of smoke, sweet spice, overtones of Armagnac/ Brandy. Medium to full modied. Dry or on Ice & can be proposed with some brown sugar or syrup.
