Apricots come from China & arrived in central Europe via the Caspian Sea. This round-shaped fruit with its velvety skin (when it is ripe) is orange yellow or red. Put to macerate in alcohol, the apricot with its huge gustative qualities, swollen with sugar & sunshine, having reached full maturity, impregnates the alcoholic liquid with its delicious & refreshing flavour, perfectly restored after adding a small quantity of sugar. Creme d' Abricot is served well-chilled as a digestif, or can be served as a perfect addition to a number of cocktails.
