The brandy & rum casks had previously been used to mature Amrut's own rum & brandy. Nose: Rich & floral, honeyed, nutty, new oak, vanilla, lifted fruit aromas of citrus & tropical fruits. Taste: Candied fruits, subtle oak with a light dusting of peat & integrated spice. Finish: Warming & complex with a dry, long finish. Amrut Kadhambam is the result of Amrut Indian Single Malt Whisky matured in three different wood types. Initially matured in ex-Oloroso sherry butts, ex-Bangalore Blue Brandy casks & ex-rum casks.
