Each Christmas for more than twenty-five years, the editors of Viz Comic have cobbled together a hardback annual out of all the best bits from a year's worth of Britain's funniest magazine, stuck a colourful picture on the front & called it something vaguely off-colour. & over the years, those annuals have become as much a part of the traditional British Christmas as the Queen's speech, turkey with all the trimmings & Clostridium botulinum. However, to celebrate this special Olympic Jubilee year, the editors thought they'd ring the changes & do something completely different, something new & exciting.. . in short, something that would put Viz right back where it belongs at the cutting edge of British comedy.
