Each Christmas for more than twenty-five years, the editors of Viz Comic have cobbled together a hardback annual out of all the best bits from a year's worth of Britain's funniest magazine, stuck a colourful picture on the front and called it something vaguely off-colour. And over the years, those annuals have become as much a part of the traditional British Christmas as the Queen's speech, turkey with all the trimmings and Clostridium botulinum.
