70cl / 46% / Douglas Laing - A 2013 Caol Ila single malt from indie bottler Douglas Laing that was matured in a single refill barrel for eight years, before being bottled in November 2021 as part of its Provenance series. Aromas of caramel, butterscotch, roast ham and medicinal peat fill the nose, complemented by notes of smoked meat, peated barley, candied orange peel, oak and mocha throughout the palate.
