- This White Batavia Arrack from By The Dutch is pot distilled from sugar cane molasses on the island of Java in Indonesia after a long fermentation. It is matured for up to 12 months in large teak wooden vats before being blended & bottled in Amsterdam. The palate is light & tropical, with notes of papaya, citrus, fresh sugar cane, warming black pepper & vanilla.
