- luxury Damson Jam was distilled in 1988 by Islay’s Bunnahabhain & bottled by independent bottler Wemyss Malts. This single-cask whisky offers rich aromas of dark chocolate & cigars, alongside sweet maraschino cherries & stewed damsons. The palate is rich & sweet, like a damson jam with a hint of ginger, developing a dry, woody element & hints of allspice, cloves & oranges. The finish is long & lingering, bitter notes of liquorice root mingling with a salty, maritime edge.
