This 2018 Sauternes release is a vatting of just 30 casks, matured first in ex-bourbon casks before a five-month finish in fresh Sauternes hogsheads. Those five months layered even more toffee, vanilla and caramel on top of the bourbon-matured spirit, creating a rich, sweet and complex dram, with big Kilchoman smoke and citrus.
