Second release of three so far (Batch 1 distillery only, Batch 3 USA only). Multi-vintage comprising of ten ex-sherry & ex-bourbon casks distilled in 1967, 1970s & 1989. Very limited & rather spectacular. Balvenie William Grant converted the ruins of Balvenie House into Balvenie malt whisky distillery in 1892 in order to meet the global demand for William Grant’s Scottish Speyside malt whisky & blended scotch. Balvenie Distillery is situated near Balvenie Castle & the River Fiddich in Scotland’s Speyside whisky region & is one of the few Scottish distilleries to malt barley on its own malt floors & to dry its malted barley over a peat fire in its own malt kiln. Visitors can enjoy an in-depth Balvenie scotch whisky experience & distillery tour. Balvenie Distillery is also a participant in the popular Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
