The Dalmore 35 Year Old Single Malt Scotch

A magnificently mature 35 year old release from the Dalmore, aged in three cask variaties; Bourbon, Matusalem sherry and Colheita port. The resulting liquid is displayed in a show-stopping Baccarat Crystal Decanter, the display case projects the image of the whisky using mirrored surroundings to elongate its presence. Now lets talk about the important stuff! Nose: Sweet tropical fruits, banana and pineapple, slightly floral with bursts of citrus, sweet, Bakewell tarts and almonds. A faint breeze of sherry. Palate: The sherry is slightly more defined, refreshingly fruity, tropical mango and blood orange, balanced with a delicate sweetness. Hints of toasted hazelnuts and coffee beans. Finish: Lingering, fruits prevail, floral notes with a dash of spice.
