Bottled in 2019, this 25 Year Old, Cask Strength Single Malt from the Laphroaig Distlllery has an instant warming tang of smoke which fades into smooth floraly scents. There's an oaky nuttiness and you'll be left with a lasting sweetness on the palate. A splash of water with allow the salty tones to come through but not enough to overpower the vanilla and honey sweetness. A top dram from the Islay distillery.
