Part of the initial release for the core range of the Meikle Toir br&, which is peated whisky distilled at The Glenallachie Distillery. This bottle in particular has been first matured in ex Bourbon casks before a period in Virgin oak Chinquapin Oak casks. Not a traditional oak to use, chinquapin is a sub species of Quercus Alba the industry standard American oak used for Bourbon American Whiskeys.
