A single malt Scotch whisky with a higher strength, the Glenfiddich Valley of the Deer distillery edition has been matured for 15 years in traditional American & Spanish oak. This is certainly an evocative whisky for the discerning whisky drinker. Nose: Blossom & fresh flowers. Crisp with a peppery edge. Hints of custard & almond. Palate: Malt, very creamy with more of those blossom notes. Spicy with hints of dark, rich fruit, black pepper & cinnamon. Good sherry character. Finish: Sweetness, & a lush long finish.
