The 27-year-old GlenDronach Batch 10 is the latest bottle from the acclaimed Grandeur series and is a limited edition (only 2, 293 bottles). The Master Blender Rachel Barrie hand picked from the best and rarest casks in the warehouse, consisting of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry. The ABV is 50.1% a very good level for a 27-year-old bottle. It is described as 'a symphony of depth and mellow maturity, reminiscent of times gone by. With layers of damson plum, black walnut and truffle on a bed of antique leather and old-fashioned treacle gingerbread, Batch 10 celebrates the robust, full-bodied style of The GlenDronach Distillery.’
