Isle of SKye has been extra matured in oak casks for 12 long years. It contains an exceptionally high proportion of distinctive Island & mellow Speyside malts which, after blending, are returned to cask to ‘marry’ prior to bottling. Nose: Heavy smoke, a pinch of salt & spice. Dried fruits drizzled in honey. Palate: Sweet dried fruits, figs & raisins. Followed by peat & oak. Finish: Medium-long, slight sweetnes, peated smoke.
