These ceramic baking beans help to prevent blistering & shrinkage during baking. Totally heat resistant & 100% reusable. These ceramic beads conduct heat for even pastry baking. Simply prick the unbaked pastry case with a fork. Cover with baking paper then fill with a layer of Tala ceramic baking beans. Pack the beans against the sides as this is where shrinkage is most likely to occur. After baking & when beans have cooled, remove & hand wash in soapy water. Dry & return beans to handy storage container. These baking beads cover up to 32cm / 13 flan tin. Approx 700g.
