Ceramic Pie Beads
These ceramic baking beans help to prevent blistering and shrinkage during baking. Totally heat resistant and 100% reusable.These ceramic beads conduct heat for even pastry baking.Simply prick the unbaked pastry case with a fork. Cover with baking paper then fill with a layer of Tala ceramic baking beans. Pack the beans against the sides as this is where shrinkage is most likely to occur. After baking and when beans have cooled, remove and hand wash in soapy water. Dry and return beans to handy storage container.These baking beads cover up to 32cm / 13 flan tin. Approx 700g.
